Jeff Moy's Ryu Akiyama and Ryokos commission

Hey there, folks!

So, as I mentioned in the Superboy and Kator piece I inked for my friend he sent me 2 commissions done by Jeff Moy. And if the other one was the 'oh yeah, I got this' one. this one was the 'oh shit, where do I start with this one?' one.

You'll probably see it better after seeing the side-to-side file, but this one was soooooo much nothing like my style that I didn't really know where to start: the huge action-posed hero? the evil humanized spider behind him? the trees with weird (to me) textures? Hell, even the signatures on this one gave me trouble!

That said, I think I did an ok job with this one and it looks quite nice. Sort of like the blending of the styles drawings should have when they're done by different people. I definitely should work outside of my comfort zone more ofent
